To inspire creative, innovative leading, teaching and learning, both in the classroom and in life

Vision 

To provide a gallery of the dynamic nuances of leading, teaching, and learning that comprise the aesthetic whole of the educational experience for developing a community of practice.

Beliefs

Students, parents, teachers, educational leaders, Boards, and community stakeholders succeed by forging a supportive network to create a community of practice.

All students possess limitless talents and abilities that educators are charged with unlocking through social, emotional supports to free the spirit and liberate the mind. Freeing the spirit and liberating the mind are the precursors for cognitive potential.

Parents are shared partners in educational decision-making and their supports must be enlisted through authentic, inviting home-school opportunities and encouraging communications.

Teachers are conduits for sharing knowledge and inspiring learners to learn. High-performing teachers empower students to take control of the learning through constructivist problem solving and inquiry.

Administrators must lead with a servant’s heart and employ distributive leadership. Employing shared leadership via a student-centered lens empowers others to lead and take ownership of organizational goals.

Board members and community stakeholders are both shepherds of the community and valuable partners for empowering the learning organization. Board and community members are representatives of the values of the greater community and facilitate leveraging resources for the learning organization.
